A Visit to the Museum

A great thing to do on these cold winter days is to visit an art museum...to take in the many colors, varied lines, hundreds of subjects, ideas and ways artists work and respond to their environment. The Rhode Island School of Design Museum in Providence was bustling with people looking and even taking notes on what they were seeing when I visited yesterday. Van Gogh, Martin, Monet, Cassatt, Soto, Rothko, Frankenthaler and Pollock are just some of the many artists works found in this beautiful jewel of a museum. We even heard a live classical concert echoing through the museums hallways and galleries. Check it out for a worthwhile way to spend a  winter's afternoon!
